Can the developers add a Negatoid / Positoide meter?

I think it would be cool if there was a Negatoid/Positoide meter along with the Like counter. As posters got thumbs ups or thumbs down, the weight would be evaluated and meter would show either Negatoid or Positoide dynamically. Wouldn't that be fun?

Wouldn't this just invite the same problem the thread star rating system created? A small minority of posters would find ways to pump up the favorability or unfavorability of anybody they supported or anybody they wanted to trash. Essentially while everyone casts their one vote, they would dominate with multiple votes.
