Classy & gracious relinquishing the captain's armband to Abey Wambach. Just watched her on Fox. Humble, dignified,inteligent, so well spoken & on no sleep. A credit to Rutgers , the Women's National Team & the State of New Jersey. In fact, all the young women conducted themselves with class.
Oh & did I mention what a great & clutch player Carli is? You go girl.

Carli Lloyd is the Michael Jordan of Women's Soccer.....There is nobody I would rather have with the ball, possibly in any sport when my back was against the wall. 2008 game winner for the Olympics, Game winner in the 2012 olympics, hat trick to win the 2015 World Cup (not to mention game winning goals against Germany and China to get into the final).

Pretty clutch.

She's definitely going to cash in on this, and its nice to see, because it seems like its pretty tough for these girls to scratch by with the club salaries they get. I'm happy for her.
