Those numbers aren't bad. You really need to put it in perspective of other non football and men's basketball tv viewership.

From 2023:
The Big Ten championship game was the most-watched hockey broadcast in Big Ten Network history with 165,000 viewers.

From 2022:
In January, Iowa vs. Ohio State set a record as the most-watched regular season women's basketball game in network history with 164,000 viewers

From 2023:
Live volleyball matches on BTN, which has a “reach” of roughly 48 million subscribers, have averaged 142,000 viewers in 2023, an increase of 12.6% from 126,000 in 2022. (Keep in mind that was skewed by the 612,000 people who watched the Nebraska outdoor match)

The 110,000 average is actually higher than I expected to be honest. We are talking about venues which average 4,000 (?) butts in the seats and the TV viewership is 27 times the attendance.

Can't keep rationalizing away the decline and hope it gets better:

Not going to get any viewership numbers until they schedule away from the basketball tournament. The casual sports fan is not going to watch wrestling when March madness is going on.

Either become a one semester sport and wrestle the championships in late April or move the tournament up one week. It’s an easy change.
