From the scarletknight.com summary of the latest RU loss:

"We came out strong today, as it is very convenient to be ready to play on game day," head coach Brian Brecht said. "We need to be ready and committed to prepare every day during the week leading up to game day."

I mean, was there a spellcheck error in the SID's office or is "convenient" a buzzword for something not fit for print?

Not a pretty game to watch. Outscored, 5-1, down the stretch by a 3-8 team that had beaten Vermont, Penn and Marist. Any questions on which team wanted its first B1G win a little more? Maybe next year ...

My guess is that's directly from BB. It reads like him. He means that anyone can show up on game day but he needs his players to actually compete during practice in order to be successful. Yesterday was awful.

Near as I can tell is he is saying being fully prepared on game day is a nice bi-product of hard work EVERY day
