Watching this series for the first time during NY Yankee game commercials. And wow, are there not any dentists in Alaska? This show looks like a cross hybrid of the Beverly Hillbillies and National Geo documentary. I'm riveted.

I see a couple of burly tough teens who could possibly be prospects, but doubt any of them ever went to school past 7th grade, let alone play football. The Weequahic kids who can't qualify past the NCAA Clearinghouse would be considered Rhodes Scholars in Alaska.

To be fair, Alaska is sparsely populated, and outside the metro areas you have to be some level of bush person to survive.
