December 28th will be a much better date for them than the 26th. Other than an outlier in 2011 (Purdue's first bowl game since 2007), the attendance has been steadily on the decline since 2007. Possibly because more bowl games have been added each year. Last year was the first time neither team came from either Michigan or a bordering state since 1999.
