- What is your best guess for what Cliff will get on the NIL market?
- Rumors that JWill got $250K from RU. How close is that to the truth?
- Is Pikiell recruiting top mid-major guys from the portal because the P5 impact guys are out of RU's NIL reach? What are top mid major guys typically getting out of the portal?
- Going forward, which program will have the bigger challenge getting quality players from the portal? Football or Basketball?

1) Have Knights of The Raritan set up a YouTube channel or some other social media to drive extra (even if minimal) revenue to the collective through views/engagement?

Food for thought re: 1)

Would think you could even stop sending info in emails and Just post your updates on YT to force views.

Could also consider doing quick fun segments with some of the athletes.

Not a social media expert but I have some ideas on leveraging resources here and student engagement.

2) we hear of negative recruiting…have you heard of anything really nefarious in those regards happening in the NIL world. Not with our program but maybe others.

For example has anyone tried to whisper in the ear of recruits / players at top NIL programs that they are not recruiting just to make the top programs pay more / use more of their NIL resources?

Has anyone tried to entice players into the portal from other teams not because they want the player they just don’t want the rival to have them?

3) what restrictions does the university have on how they spend their marketing budget?

Increased presence in youth sports but Rutgers is needed for long term expansion of fan(atic) and supporter base.


Would be great if there was a way to kill multiple birds with one stone there.

Interesting concept from NC State, raising almost $900K in one night.
Years ago, the McCourty brothers hosted a casino night to raise money for Embrace Kids. Wonder if a similar type of event with raffle involving items from and perhaps meet/greet with former and existing RU NFL players would raise a large sum of money in one night? @RUJON , could something like this be done?
