Univ. of Florida - now its suspicion of armed robbery

On the heels of Aaron Hernandez's conviction, now this. Florida's JC Jackson is arrested on suspicion of armed robbery. What is it with college football in Florida? Do coaches make character checks on recruits? Or maybe the football programs, the leadership and environment of them, are hotbeds for thugs?

No, not at all. It's not that simple. Just pointing out that it must be something in the water. Florida State, Florida, Miami. Lots of bad behavior.

Florida has a horrible crime rate. It's outright dangerous to live in certain parts of the state. It's inevitable that some criminals are going to filter through to some of the many college teams they have.

Considering a sizable chunk of our team is from Florida, safe to say we've avoided the bad ones from that criminal state

The crime rate is horrible in AMERICA and its dangerous to live in certain parts. Been to Newark lately?

Also safe to say the caliber of players that UF/FSU/Miami attract dont have us on their short list.

There's enough talent in Florida and the schools are attractive enough on their own as a destination that these teams can win big-time without the bad behavior.
