You guys have 6 marquee games this year, what ones will you win?

I don't care how we do it. I will be very happy to go 6-6. If we go 7-5 during the regular season, I don't know how people can still complain about Coach Flood. (but I know some will still)
I agree at 7-5 no one should complain about this season. But 7 wins can't be the acceptable high water mark forever.

When yiu take EVERYTHING into account what do you think an acceptable water mark is? To me 7 and 8 win years is pretty solid for the next 7-10 years.

So you are ok with zero improvement?

Nothing to serious. ..I hear he's a good kid so I wouldn't wish injury on him. I spent an entire HS game last season on the sidelines talong to your QB coach. He had great thinge to say abut hI'm as a person. I just think there is a point where he and helicopter dad realize he's only hurting his stock behind thst o line. I know you guys think it will be better but we know from experience an o line doesnt get fixed in one year. Your spring game proved it

no no...I'm with ya.....though, everyone's talking about him being a high 1st round pick even after last year's dreadful performance, so I can't imagine his stock being hurt any worse. If he and the offense has a similar year, it'll not only be disappointing, it'll be surprising as well........there's no reason not to expect some improvement (i'm hoping for a lot).......that being said, not too much of a reason to stick around in 2016, continue getting beat up while the OL gets their act in gear....might as well get paid

We could have significant improvement and still lose 4 games a year. When you look at our conference and teams like Washington and ucla OOC, we could lose 4 games and still be ranked every year.

At some point being Rutgers and being in the Big Ten must start paying dividends. Rutgers will never be an Ohio State but it shouldn't a miracle to beat them on occasion.

I don't disagree but I think people need to be realistic. Look at teams that more often than not win 7 or games a year in the PAC and SEC and tell me you would be dissapointed being in the discussion with those programs. Especially prior to us getting full share and improving facilities.

NJ kids aren't staying away in droves because Rutgers doesn't get a full share and Rutgers may not have the best facilities in the country but Rutgers Football has great facilities.
Both excuses are a cop out on why Rutgers can't improve. Joining the Big Ten was supposed to be the game changer. The sleeping giant crap. Every team in the Big Ten and PAC12 has made a run (except maybe Indiana) at least once in the last 15 years. Rutgers being a great academic school and now in the Big Ten should not be treading water for the next 10 years

Enough with the Jersey kids. We will take kids of equal talent if they don't want to come. You say every team has made a run in 15 years and then you say we shouldn't tread water for ten. How come we don't get those extra 5 years?

Because Rutgers is a college in a state with tons of talent. That why SEC teams win, that's why OSU wins, that's why USC had a big run. Rutgers can not be above a 7 win team by finding "gems" in other states. Rutgers is not ND where they can get top talent from all 50 states.
Enough with the Jersey kids??? Don't you see it as a problem that the coaches in this state won't support Flood like they did Schiano?

Again with the Schiano nonsense. They supported him so much that the top talent was choosing Pitt over RU, I know you dint need to be reminded that if Pornstache doesn't get fired the trend would have continued. Look, I'd love for Walker, Gary, Fuller etc to all be bating down our doors but they aren't and there is no guarantee that any coach could get them to. As for the rest, it's subjective but if you look at the way the mods ranked our recruits vs nj kids we are doing just fine.

The Schiano nonsense?? Are you saying Schiano did as poor of a job getting NJ kids like Flood? That's nonsense.

Honest enough. I pesonally don't think hack finishes the season. A man can only take so much beating.

lol....damn!....that's a brutal prediction, geesh

vkj make a good point that if Franklin gets frustrated as hack gets sacked too many time and loses games Think U of F with super star QB Driskill, he never materialized. Franklin is a spread guy . I can see it but it would have to a very desperate situation at the state penn. But yes Hackenburg may not finish the season if it evident that they end up with a losing season. Hack will get scrapped for the future of the spread.
