You have no idea what his life goals are. He gets a masters degree at a huge discount (scholarship money) and the trade off is he has to wrestle. I don’t blame any athlete who comes back for that reason.

@zappaa All of the above is correct which is why it is more mind blowing when our players attack areas where there is not space. It looks to me that someone’s number is being called on the sideline and they dodge into traffic come hell or high water. I do not see other teams holding the ball like we do, you need to be looking for the guy who does have space as soon as a double slides to you.

Is it possible the head coach is teaching his players to not move, cut or create space for each other?
Lacrosse is no different than any other sport,..in its simplest form it’s taking away time and space on D and creating time and space on O

He’s a great college coach. Definitely not disputing that and what he did at providence and other spots deserves accolades. I actual don’t dislike him I just get tired of people felating him tbh. People make mistakes. Everyone has their flaws. He was not good in the nba btw when his talent wasn’t great so not sure he’s such an x and o genius. Whatever the formula it certainly works in college and for whatever weird reason I don’t mind when St. John’s is good. UConn and Hurley make me wanna puke.
