Christian Walker (34 years old, 6.8 WAR)Very true, but gotta be better 1B options out there.
Cole has proven he can handle NY. That's a rarity in itself. You gotta resign him. They could let Cole walk and go after Corbin Burns. He's like 4 years younger and would probably cost less.
Hard to say what’s realistic or unrealistic when it comes to the final wins/losses this season = VT and UW were great but we almost gave VT away and UW simply played their worst game ever. But watching the last three games has been painful. I’ll cut the D some slack because of key injuries. But the play calling on O makes me want to puke. We are a decent D coordinators dream. So predictable and lack any element of surprise to keep D off-balance.We have some delusional fans with unrealistic expectations
I wonder how many of those coaches get firedHyperbole. Rutgers was not even ranked pre season, and T 4-4 the sky is falling for some. Nobody thought RU would beat USC. UCLA is better than their 1-5 record when RU played them. Wisconsin is only WTF game. We have some delusional fans with unrealistic expectations. Here is some perspective.

If we had a Fieldhouse, our talent level, especially on our offense, would have been much betterHe’s visiting Syracuse because of its field house. He’s visiting Syracuse because Greg is an absolutely horrible coach and bottom 5 offensive minds in the country. So he pulled out of Rutgers and is looking for a viable option for his career
You are not understanding the scope of the problem. Since 2004, we have had better facilities than Syracuse, and this in part allowed us to beat them for most recruits. This year:Al, I have hung in there with you for years, but in a couple years, they can have a practice facility the size of two Superdomes and it won’t matter. After the Big Ten, SEC, and Big 12 strip the ACC of all the decent programs, all that will be left will be Syracuse, Wake Forest, and Boston College. I think even Cal-Berkeley and Stanford will swallow their pride and go to the new PAC 8/10 and who knows about SMU. No one will care about Syracuse and their fieldhouse anymore than Tulsa or UMass building a new fieldhouse.
No I didn’t miss the point. Schiano style of play is to eat clock and limit the other teams possessions (he’s spoken about this multiple times not a secret). The script was flipped and UCLA used his tactic against him and limited his possessions. They knew his offense has an issue scoring. Schianos decision to employ that style of offense was made far in advance. Therefore lack of possession was and is exactly that an excuse. You missed the point completely. He wasn’t complaining or using an excuse. Simply stating the low possessions in first half influenced his decision making process .
If everyone else has a strong Fieldhouse, it won’t provide an advantage. UCLA also has a very nice facility, which opened in 2017.Nebraska fieldhouse working wonders. Playing in a tough league levels the playing fieldhouse.

I do agree that they checked with Clark - I also think that Sides was likely going to go because it didn't appear that she could develop Clark and the team as well as other coaches out there could. What I don't think is that Clark demanded a coaching change (which does not mean she didn't want one).I'm sure if Clark wanted the Fever to keep Sides , she still would be the HC and Caitlin had a say in stay or go based on their relationship .
Stephanie White was hired to help Clark become a great WNBA player by teaching her how to keep her turnovers down and learn to play better defense without taking away from having a aggressive offensive game
White's hire I'm sure Clark was asked about before job was offered and without her OK Indiana would look for someone else that Caitlin approved
