Besides the match-up, what else is there to do in that area??
Have only been to Happy Valley once or twice, but it ranks with schools that are in the middle of scenic nowhere and I'd guess entertainment options are few and far between other than PSU sports. -Additionally, their cult-like behavior is a little over the top with what they'll look past, (or try to completely ignore), just for the sake of posting another "W". (I mean, just look at the facial expressions of the guys in the photo you posted. ...Those boys REALLY need start drinking some de-cafe.)
And want people to show up and show up on time? -Winning would go a long way towards curing that, (but that's stating the obvious), especially since, by the OP's own words in another thread, this was supposed to be "the greatest Rutgers football team ever assembled", or something to that effect, and frankly, after a while it becomes akin to the Charlie Brown/Lucy football schtick...and people eventually just flat-out get tired of being disappointed.
