QB was the difference Today

Defense obviously played great but athan having the ability to stretch the field made a huge difference. Stat line may not show it but athan was chucking bombs on the money and giving our guys a chance. It forced minny to keep an extra defender deep more often than they wanted opening some running lanes. We should kept chucking fades but got away from them a little in the 3rd.

Furthermore, minnys qb had an absolute noodle arm. Theres a reason he was playing fcs ball. Kid had zero zip on his balls and no arm strength. Charlie checkdown should be his name. Anything outside the hashes I started covering my ears waiting to hear shotguns go off.

Whata game. 1 more til bowl eligibility!

Two things

Two things I see to be true.

Dylan Harper is a superior player, poised, and ready beyond his years. Probably best freshman i have seen play at Rutgers since Phil, although Bailey and Hinson ended their freshmen years as major forces.

Dylan Harper is still a freshman and he will make mistakes.

We had taken control in the second half, up 9 when Dylan missed a 3 early in the possession. I said then we were in for a dog fight. Crazy as it seems I felt a momentum shift coming in the same day i did when we missed the dunk against Houston. Next possession, Dylan took it inside and missed, again quickly, and SPU was all up in our grill until the end.

Neither okay was terrible but that did not reflect a feel for time and score.

It didn't cost us today, because we were the better team and grabbed the grant at the end. With Dylan's help.

He will win many games for us this year. He neat just us an occasional one too.

And he will help us to have a very enjoyable season this year.

Just hold both of those conflicting notions at the same time and enjoy this wonderful ride.

Oh yeah, i can't wait to see Ace out there too.

Harvard Alums Complaining About Aurich Hire

Now Harvard Alums are complaining about the Aurich hire process. Some self appointed Harvard Alum douche was quoted as saying:

“It smells of some kind of sham process,” said Joe Mattson, who played for the Crimson in the 1990s. “There is no other explanation for hiring an unsuccessful tight end coach from a really crappy program.”
