Conference realignment has been a staple of college sports for, like forever. I'm kind of tired reading all the press stories whining about how realignment is ruining college sports.

Good show. Just listened at the gym on lunch

Hopefully this one will be ultra-high def .. also, it wouldn’t kill them to make the screen bigger! When it was first put up it was top-5 in the country in size. Today, it’s probably bottom 10 in the Power 5. I hope it’s one long screen instead of the 3 screens from before, with them incapable of putting one giant image across.

We have a special episode today as we spoke with Coach Ciarrocca's QB from his 4 years at Western Michigan Zach Terrell, who couldn't say enough good things about Kirk. He was a really great guest. Zach credited Kirk for most of his success as a player and I wanted to highlight some of the records set at WMU while Ciarrocca was the OC...

• First MAC title in almost 30 years

The Ohio St game was an extremely stressful viewing experience. I can't remember watching a college game that had so many ties and lead changes. According to a stat site I refenced, the Ru v. Ohio State game had a total of 73.8 possessions, of which nearly 1/2 of those possessions (34) involved either a possession when the game was tied or resulted in a lead change. This may not be a record, but I bet it's in the top 10. Can someone with access to KenPom or some similar site verify this? This bodes well for any close game going forward -- of which, it seems, will be every game from this point.

As a fan, I love these clutch performances. But I'd also like a few blowouts -- in our favor!!

It looked like our guy in the red wig and sequined coat was being yelled at and told to sit down by Chris Carlin's wife. On another note, my god, Carlin is huge!!!! Thankfully no one ever tells me to sit down in my section!

I am purposely posting this only halfway thru the season and at halftime of the game, so saying "its too early to tell" is not an answer.

I have been saying since December that this is the best Rutgers basketball team ever, for a few reasons

a) team chemistry is off the charts- everyone seems happy with their roles and you can see how well the bench is pulling for the guys on the court - even if it happens to be an injured starter or someone on the bench with a few fouls

b) team is so balanced - we have multiple guys who can fill the stat sheet

c) our defense is ELITE - definitely in the top 5 in the country and maybe in the Top 2

d) we have a veteran team - we have 4 guys who have been to multiple tournaments

e) beating the #1 team ON THE ROAD is the biggest accomplishment any team can make

f) 1976 is of course our most famous team, but the way the tournament was structured back then didnt have all the top seeded teams (NIT was still big back then) and the 1976 team didnt have many ranked wins
