Can Rutgers grow a pair and get this entire renovation done in the off season? Even if not fully complete, get the inside done so can still play before totally complete?
I believe Hobbs has it in him to make this happen!
It was a great interview and wonderful advertisement for RU Basketball. Talked about current team, Gavin, and praised Asst. Coaches, and Coach Calhoun.
Said could not discuss players that verbally committed was is excited about current signed class.
Its asking alot of the starters to log a ton minutes every single game. We still have 13 left. We are not even half way through the big 10 schedule. After Hyatt we obviously dont have a ton of scoring but hook or by crook we need Simpson, Reiber, Wolfman and even Miller to give us a little offense.
I saw on TKR that 200 section tickets at Madison Square Garden opened up today for the Rutgers-Michigan State game on February 4th. So I go on Ticketmaster to get 4 tix for my 3 kids and me. Before buying, I check their schedules for February 4th. My 9-year daughter has a gymnastics meet that day. No problem, I'll just get 3 tickets. Then I do a double-take. Her gymnastics meet is the Scarlet Knight Invitational at Rutgers.
I'm in favor of RU playing a few games at MSG. This approach can work in our region. UConn has won 4 national championships splitting home games between the on-campus Gampel Pavilion and a bigger arena in Hartford.
Still, what is going on here? I have contacted the athletics department to get an answer. Maybe somebody on TKR has better knowledge on how these decisions get made.
Couple that with his hustle, steals, rebounding, asssits....and I'm Thinking if he (and the team) continues at present clip,
comes back next year and performs equally or even better (e.g. >PPG)...>CAM gets a shot at the NBA.
