If they take out LSU it will have been a successful start to the B1G season. A loss, especially lopsided which I don’t expect, will allow the narrative to be a shaken start due to performances mainly by Wisconsin, Oregon, and Michigan. Fair or unfair.

It is interesting to note that Connor Stalions is coaching at the Detroit MI high school, Mumford HS, that is the alma mater of Stephen Michael Ross. Yes, that Stephen Michael Ross, who has been extremely generous to Michigan.

Rutgers is still one of less than a handful of power conference schools to yet host.

- RU record and momentum at that point
- the opponent likely has to be ranked
- what other big games nationally would contend that weekend
- what network is carrying that game

NCAA is considering historic changes to amateurism rules, including permitting athletes in all sports (not only FB) to play in a 5th year & preserve their redshirt; to earn prize money before college; and to eliminate the NLI.

I’m watching the LSU - USC game and while very early in the game (end of 1st Q), the USC defense looks much better than recent years. Tackling is much better and more physical up front. If that turns out to be the case this year, that could be a major factor in the B1G this season. They are going to have a good offense and score points.

I am a previous 15 year season ticket holder and current basketball season ticket holder. I bought 4 tickets in section 109 row 2 for the Howard game for $2.50 a piece plus the $4 a piece StubHub fee. The digital tickets were delivered by the Rutgers Ticket Office email via “Dynamic Pricing Partners 3.”

Yes I spent money once in the stadium, and that makes sense, but what about all the other people on 109 that paid full boat for this last game.

I don’t know the answer, but I know this isn’t right and Rutgers is screwing over season ticket holders.

We all know Gavin was challenged with his throwing accuracy and hoped that AK would be an upgrade and at least against Howard, he was, with a 63% completion rate (and a few drops in there or it would've been 70+%, plus he was also generally hitting receivers in stride which is a big improvement). He also ran effectively several times and you could see him going quickly through his progressions and moving well in the pocket. As Politi said, he wasn't flashy, as we really didn't throw any deep balls (wish we had tried one or two), but he was very efficient and safe, which is something we all know Greg likes. Will be interesting to see how he does against better teams.
