PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 24 Rutgers women's soccer has earned a bid to its 11th consecutive NCAA Tournament. The Scarlet Knights are a No. 5 seed and will host Brown on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. at Yurcak Field to begin the national tournament

After watching some other Big 10 teams last night, like Illinois, it's one concern. I think we have the quickness, and we have guards like Hyatt who are willing to rebound. My concern is defending in the post. Cliff will be fine if he stays out of foul trouble. Maybe Wolf comes on faster than expected? But we will really need Reiber to step up his defense. Maybe our pressing defense limits the number of touches and the steals and disruptions by Cam, McConnelll, Mulcahy and Simpson will compensate?

I like this team a lot. We have shooters and we play fast. Thew size is my only concern. Chol doesnt appear to be there just yet. Hopefully he comes around.

Baltimore Firefighter/ Audubon, NJ native Jake Bicking was severely injured in a serious car calrash in Delaware recently. He played youth ball for the Oaklyn, NJ Cougars and was an Audubon Firefighter before moving to Baltimore.

He was a great kid who turned out to be a great young man with a beautiful family. Here’s hoping he and his family gets through this on all levels.

Has looked pretty good tonight, shame he transferred out. I understand some guys may have passed him by but he could have ended up playing a ton this year. Looks more like a LB than DE playing for Miami of OH but he's holding his own at point of attack.

First,Columbia is beyond awful. It is unimaginable that they could be this bad in NYC with a proud heritage and such a great university. As many know since we got rid of the arcane Ivy antitrust exemption,there will be Ivy scholarships in 2-3 years,but Engles will be long gone.

It is all about Spencer and Mag to get to 20 plus wins,5th in the Big Ten and an 8 seed.

The first real game won't happen until a very tough trip to Miami.

... besides Jersey Cam's ability to steal the basketball (whoa) is Derick Simpson's passing ability, whoa!!!!!! I thought he was a scoring 2. Tonight he played like a solid backup PG who sees the floor VERY well. Wow.

We need running backs, people who can get separation and catch and a backup QB.

Always need big uglies.

Many won’t admit it, but we are playing above our talent level.

You gotta see that Schiano has put the culture in place and the start of a good foundation in place.

Next step is playmakers to get us to bowl level. With our defense we need to score at least 3 tds a game with a couple FTs to get to a bowl.

In his 16th season with the program, head coach Scott Goodale is blessed with a roster full of talent in all 10 weight classes, but the Scarlet Knights’ leader will have tough decisions to make regarding the lineup.

According to Goodale, it is a good problem to have.

Did St Benedict’s forward Ladji Dembele did not make to campus Sunday but will be there Saturday afternoon for the game. Offered 2-3 weeks ago.Final three are Iowa, RU and Wake. Wake may be in the lead at this point.

One of the biggest problems with our team is the offensive line. Right now it's basically a patchwork mercenary line composed of guys who slid down the depth chart at other schools. We recruited a lot of freshman lineman. Obviously, you can't just stick an freshman offensive lineman out there like you can at say RB or DB. I wonder how guys like Jacob Allen, Monegro, Kobe, DeCroce are progressing. Ash was recruiting soft swedish guys. I wonder how Schianos guys are doing.

Did it get "demilitarized"?

BTW - the basketball team looked pretty good on D but the same percentage problems exist on offense and at the line. The transfer kid from UMD looks to be a solid shooter.
