Biggest Change in Attendance We R B1G

It's the difference between observing numbers and actually being in the stadium. That being said, if the numbers are always distributed tickets, the percentage increase could be real if you consider in-person attendance 2016 or 17 to 2022/23. We had a lot of 35K attended sellouts, but our 30K...

OT: Clemson files suit against ACC

We all hang on until ownership of the BTN is split (also the CIC, what's done with IP there). That's where the B10 might be more secure from downsizing/contracting.

OT: Clemson files suit against ACC

Not really -- Pitt blew up the Eastern League as much as anybody else. Gruninger wanted us aligned with Penn State and that was the reason we declined the Big East invite in the 78/79 timeframe. The schools with respect to the Eastern League couldn't come to an agreement on football media...

B12 ACC Schools not Happy with the B1G and SEC Making Rules

It's a little hypocritical to claim the system is rigged when you move/shift to the outside looking in. We all know it isn't fair; it has never been fair. The only way it could be fair would be to have conference champions only. Win your conference and then we can talk. Have to say that I'm...

OT: ACC says "Let's make a Deal"

not sure if they are. ND is the only independent playing a schedule hard enough to get into the top 20. Under yesterday's plan, they will never get a first round bye (since they won't be a conference champion). they will usually be in the hunt for an at-large spot ESPECIALLY if they play more...

I would like to see Syracuse and UConn in the Big Ten

Al, The Big 12 passed on UConn and they weren't particularly fussy! They took 3 AAC schools, 4 Pac 12 schools and BYU. Syracuse is a better fit in the ACC than they are in the Big 10. UConn stuck by its basketball team and now is home in the Big East. Neither team is going anywhere.

I would like to see Syracuse and UConn in the Big Ten

Al, You're right about them being our rivals (or what would have passed for rivals during our Big East years). You're wrong about either school deserving an invite to the Big 10. What do they bring to the table? Syracuse is a private school, not AAU, doesn't fit the profile at all. Might...

OT: New York Mets 2023-2024 Off Season Thread

Other questions to answer are: Who might be behind him in the farm system that Stearns would prefer -- both in terms of run production and as a defensive upgrade (Alonso's weakness) Do you want his production to go to a division rival (i.e. would the Braves, Marlins, Nats or Phillies sign him)?

    How lucky is Kyle Flood?

Not suggesting that Graber mailed it in during the 94 and 95 seasons -- just that there was virtually no support for him from the admin and kids were leaving the program in droves. No one could have succeeded here.

    How lucky is Kyle Flood?

regarding Flood's 2015 season, it truly was a cluster in all aspects here. JH ran a horrible department. Flood wasn't the man for a job in the Big 10 (would have been different if we had stayed in the AAC). JH had tried to get rid of Flood in 2013. Flood could easily have mailed it in during...
