    Realistic expectations…

Unless you have been under a rock the past couple weeks, makes no sense some are calling Washington at home a definite loss. They will have a new coach and literally new starters at every position following massive portal losses.

This garbage with dropped passes doesn’t make sense to me….

Isn't the "upgrade" you refer to applied to all QB''s and not just to GW? I certainly have read about AK 's adjusted completion %. The bottom line is neither of these 2 QB's were good enough and must show significant improvement

TKR guys are way too harsh on Gavin

My take is they (the TKR analyst) are overtly optimistic on AK and pessimistic on GW. We will see how it plays out but this notion that AK is virtually a lock is ridiculous. Neither of these QB's have been consistently good enough to engender such confidence. Based on the number of pass...

OT: Syracuse getting rocked by South Florida

And you know this based on what??? Cetainly not that interview. I understand some RU fans hate Syracuse and want Brown to fail but some of the hyper bias opinions are ridiculous!

OT: Willy Love...what happened with him???

Signed with Monmouth! Not that long ago he was a 4 star and the #1 ranked class of 2024 prospect in NJ with a national offer list. https://rutgerswire.usatoday.com/2022/11/24/the-no-1-recruit-in-new-jersey-talks-about-his-relationship-with-my-guys-at-rutgers/

Football Rutgers Football suffers ugly loss to No. 22 Iowa on Saturday

Iowa's play calling is much more creative and multiple than RU. Could be personnel is a limiting factor but I You know this how???

Football Rutgers Football suffers ugly loss to No. 22 Iowa on Saturday

Don't understand the defensive coaching philosophy. Played a lot of man versus OSU, playing mostly a soft zone today. Why??? Making their QB look much better than he is

Football Rutgers Football suffers ugly loss to No. 22 Iowa on Saturday

Extremely Iowa-centric broadcast. Commentary and graphics have been almost exclusively about them. Continuously highlighted the great Iowa defense and coaches. Other than Monangai mentions you barely know anything about the opponent. Rutgers needs to address this with B1G Network. CBS...

Football Tyreem Powell likely OUT for remainder of the season

The base defense has been 4-2-5 all season with Dixon, Loyal, Igbinosun, Melton and Longerbeam in the back end. Toure has gotten the vast majority of his snaps at LB spelling Jennings and Powell, and is the 3rd leading tackler. He will take over that role full-time now with little drop-off...

    Gavin Wimsatt

I too was very encouraged by his performance against MSU. Finally starting to get away from the low risk, low reward passing game! He is beginning to make good throws downfield and over the middle which is mandatory for him and this team to progress. Overall he only missed a handful of...

    Let's Face It

Wimsatt has made some very good throws. The 1st int was off the receivers hands and the 2nd the receiver seem to not be aware he was being targeted. Poor job picking up the blitz overall in 1st half but when given time Wimsatt had performed well.

    Taking Simon Out

Simon looked poised and ready during his brief stint but let's not overstate what occurred. He entered the game after GW had driven the ball to Wisconsin 35 yard line. Simon was able to take it the final 35 yards. I would not refer to that as marching down the field.

Big Ten Football Power Rankings (Week 5): Maryland is Very Good

You are correct Nuts. Comments like the one you highlighted regarded GW not having zip on his passes is ridiculous! The concern has been can he take something off his throws. He consistently throws bullets into tight windows

OT: PSU Transfer QB Christian Vielleux

https://www.espn.com/college-football/qbr/_/group/5 You guys are really clueless. If you objectively evaluate the B1G starting QB's based on the eye test and performance (see QBR ranking link above), there are only 4 teams QB situation, Michigan, OSU, PSU, and Maryland, I would chose over RU...

    Open up the playbook?

What the hell are you talking about??? Gavin played a solid game and is clearly getting better and more comfortable each week.

    Play Calling

Sure, that's it. It has nothing to do with not balancing run and pass

    Play Calling

Other than the 1st drive, the 1st half was mostly predictable runs. 3rd qt was all passes. Why not a mixture a run and pass all game? Definitely gives them the best chance to keep the defense off balance and for Wimsatt and the offense to succeed They have to allow Wimsatt to play and I...

When will we know if any of the injured will play tomorrow ?

Need Chris Long back. I thought he had a chance to be and still think he might be WR1... it's time to ball if he can go.

    RU moving up Massey Composite

Syracuse at #27 seems higher than it should be to me

Football Rutgers opens as 31.5pt underdogs to Michigan

I think GW accuracy issues are overblown although he did not have his best passing game. He had at least 3 drops I recall, 2 by Monangai and 1 by Langan. Factor those in and he's 10 for 16 and 62% against VT.
