Thoughts of A Recruit- Going to a "Big Time" Program

SPP QB, who had P5 offers, just committed to Navy. Joins Oben who committed to Duke and Chase Jones who picked Wake Forest. All kids could have chosen better football schools. Regardless of what any one off ranking says, Vanderbilt is an elite school. You can't blame kids who pick elite schools.

Thoughts of A Recruit- Going to a "Big Time" Program

It can only be seen as down by someone grasping to make a point. They are the most consistent program over the last 35 years. More consistent than Bama or OSU. The last time Bama was down was before Saban. Is Jimbo Saban? Of course not. But he ain't far off. Losing him and some assistants...

Thoughts of A Recruit- Going to a "Big Time" Program

They are down? They lost their head coach and their starting QB FSU is the most consistently elite program in college football over the last 35 years.

Thoughts of A Recruit- Going to a "Big Time" Program

Florida State is "down but not out" or "not elite?" Lulz I think if you have a national championship, Heisman winner and multiple first round picks in the last 5 years you're an elite program.

Distinguished professor total comp is easily > $325,000 He won't teach 1 minute of 1 class here, so don't worry about it. And for the person who said this doesn't happen in private industry, I would suggest you aren't familiar with the comings and goings of C suite executives. Google how...

OT: The 27 most expensive restaurants in New Jersey

Do you live in the Borgata? Like the Michael Cohen of AC? Personally, not a Sparks fan. But Keens or Wolfgangs are 90 minutes from my driveway--which means they are 88 minutes from your driveway...

Your house of course...sous vide and then seared in cast iron... @RU4Real I would go to Rails in Montville/Towacco if no availability at your house...I make no guarantees about you running into (or preferably over) one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. https://railssteakhouse.com/

OT: The 27 most expensive restaurants in New Jersey

Well that I agree with. Everyone should do what makes them happy. I also think you can get a decent steak in NJ if you know where to look. For me, that wouldn't be at Bobby Flay's in AC. At that very similar price point, I would go into the City. I may spend a few extra bucks, but I know I'm...

OT: The 27 most expensive restaurants in New Jersey

Come on dude Three meat purveyors from NJ probably make up 85% of the premium steakhouse market in NYC--Lafrieda (North Bergen), Debragga (Jersey City) and Green Tree (Passaic). Up until 6 or 7 years ago, Lafrieda and Debragga were still headquartered in the city. The remaining 15% used to be...

OT: The 27 most expensive restaurants in New Jersey

lol This might be the most nonsensical leap of logic ever played here Most NJ steak purveyors get their beef from Nebraska, Idaho and Montana. Shall we make a reservation in Lincoln tonight?

Gun to my head I would go to Rails. If the reason for going was business, I'd go to New York. Lol

OT: The 27 most expensive restaurants in New Jersey

The steakhouses on this list suck. That said, you can't possibly get the same quality meat that a premium steakhouse gets and I don't care who you know and what you think you're getting. The only way you'll come remotely close is if you order steaks from Lafrieda or DeBragga's retail operation...
