Isn't it in the Big Ten's best interests for Rutgers to be good in football?

If a conferences biggest brands (UM, OSU, and PSU) are good nothing else matters.

Rutgers vs Penn State / Match Thread

Rutgers is disrespecting the sport with how they are wrestling, Van Brill is a piece of sh!t, can't beat him hurt him and Deluca is an unsportsman piece of sh!t.

My apologies to our players and their parents

So because what happened at PSU means opposing fans can say what ever they want when ever they want but are going to cry when PSU fans talk shit, okay. After what I saw and heard 2 years ago your fans have nothing to cry about. I am not either a PSU alum or fan

My apologies to our players and their parents

What did people expect after your AD had to apologize for your fan behavior 2 years ago. You can not act like complete douches one year then get pissed later when you don't like how you were treated. Before you say it wasn't that bad 2 years ago, I heard some of the most vile things I had ever...

    When does Anthony Russo enroll?

I am not saying he wont be great, he very well could be but the list of HS QBs who put up huge numbers in a small window is very big and the list that became good college QBs is small.

    When does Anthony Russo enroll?

Wow 4 whole games, hell an entire season would not make that big of a difference. There is a long list of great HS QBs with great numbers that do nothing in college and people expecting him to come in and right the ship are even more insane.

    When does Anthony Russo enroll?

He may be great, but college football is not played in shorts and t-shirts in 7 on 7 drills.

Anyone that still thinks that recruiting doesn't matter?

Again Boise gets that one win a year not it is about taking a pounding every week. Competing on the highest levels takes a huge financial commitment; 3+ million for a HC, at least 500K but closer to 750K average for OC/DC, another 300K for your other assistants, recruiting coordinator, player...

Anyone that still thinks that recruiting doesn't matter?

This is the narrow view, anyone can compete with anyone for one game. Boise State would not be the same team it is now if it played an entire season the PAC-12, they do not have the depth to take the pounding every week. Sustained success over a season is all about recruiting and building depth.
