OT: Springsteen on Broadway on Netflix

I'm no fan of Gov. Murphy, Bon Jovi or Springsteen's politics but I don't blame anyone for using that farm assessment to their advantage. I think Murphy pays almost $200,000 per year in property taxes for a large house. Bon Jovi lives near him and probably pays almost the same. It's...

WVU QB Will Grier will skip Bowl Game against Syracuse to prepare for NFL Draft.

I remember watching when Willis McGahee tore up his knee in a bowl game. He still made it to the NFL but was drafted in a lower round which probably cost him a lot of $$. I understand why an NFL lock would skip the game but I'm curious how their team mates feel about it. The NCAA makes a ton...

OT: what is Devco building across from the train station?

I saw when Murphy did a press conference about the site. I also remember 2 years earlier when the project was announced. When Murphy was asked how it was going to be financed, he said he didn't know. I spoke with a guy from PSEG a few years ago who said the site was being considered for a new...

Poll OT who is your 4th seed in CFP

I don't think Notre Dame should be the 3rd spot. They have 1 win over a good Michigan team that they probably wouldn't have beat if it wasn't the 1st game of the year. Unless Syracuse gets in the top 25 with 3 losses, they've beaten no other teams that are ranked at the end of the season...

Artur looks like Jared Goff in practice

Does he have "Jersey Power" too?

At what point after next weeks game will we know if Ash is safe or gone?

It's all about $$. Ash is going to be here 1 more year. Even if he's replaced, attendance is going to be bad next year. Former season ticket holders like myself aren't getting tix again until there are signs of improvement so attendance is going to be terrible next year with or without Ash...

    If Gio started..

I was OK with Sitkowski playing this year if it was for development and he'd be an experienced QB next year. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any improvement over the course of the year and there isn't a single game where he looked like a quality prospect. Once RU lost the Kansas and Buffalo...

OT - Need Suggestions for Company Holiday Dinner Near Manville/Bridgewater

Sahara in Manville has a private room. I don't think it has a liquor license so you'd have to BYOB.

    NJO's James Kratch is SOLID

Getting to 6 wins would probably mean the team and coaches are improving which would be the 1st step toward better recruiting. If JUCO's are the way to get there, I'm OK with it as long as we get there.

    This is NOT Sitkowski's fault

I agree Sitkowski needs some time on the sideline to watch and learn. He may be a very good QB in the future but I don't see how this is helping him develop. My question to Ash would be if he doesn't want to play Gio because he's graduating and needs to prepare for next season, why not give...

OT: Olsen found not guilty by jury

The Duke Lacrosse players are another case. The police didn't believe the accuser and the only "evidence" was the woman's word but the Prosecutor brought the case anyway.

    College football was born here...

My adult son and I were asked to empty our pockets at the Texas State game. Except for wallets, keys and phones, we had nothing. I didn't have to do it today though.

    OT: Cheap flights

I got stuck in Myrtle Beach a few years ago when flying Spirit Air. I had a Sunday morning flight and they called me as I was checking out of my motel to tell me they can put me on a Tuesday night flight. I rented a car and drove back. The problem with these low cost airlines is they have few...

OT: Wife expecting 10/7/18, need Pediatrician recommendations

Another vote for Dr. Abraham - Somerset Pediatrics in Somerville. He was my sons pediatrician until he aged out. I remember talking to him about RU football during appointments. Don't know if he still is but he was a season ticket holder for football.

OT: Recent New Brunswick restaurant closings

I went here a couple of weeks back and won't be returning. Beer was cold but ordered a fish sandwich and the roll was almost twice as big as the small piece of fish. They covered it up with some lettuce, tomato and onion. My friend ordered the same and his comment was, "it was all bread".

OT: Woman sends guy 65,000 texts after one date

I have a divorced co-worker in his 50's who did some online dating. He told me, "There's a lot of crazy people out there".

OT: Marshall Tucker, Carolina Dreams Tour 77

Just 1 - lead singer Doug Gray but his voice is kind of rough these days. I saw them last several years ago and he was little more than a front man for the band while others did most of the singing.

OT: Marshall Tucker, Carolina Dreams Tour 77

Dickey Betts has decided to do some shows again after being "retired" for the past few years. He's playing the Beacon Theater on July 18th with Marshall Tucker as a warm up.

OT: Marshall Tucker, Carolina Dreams Tour 77

I saw them there too - early 80's I think. I always enjoyed their music and saw them a few other times. The last original member is Doug Gray who had some kind of throat surgery and sounds like crap when he sings but I still like the music.

OT: The Cyst - The Mole’s less offensive cousin

Tell her the cyst is disgusting and she should change her hairstyle to cover it.
