Basketball INSTANT REACTION: Rutgers Basketball falls to No. 24 Illinois 76-58

I feel like that's 80pct of our team. Davis, Simpson, Hyatt, Wolf, Williams We need some displine on offense to control the shot selection.

Basketball INSTANT REACTION: Rutgers Basketball falls to No. 24 Illinois 76-58

If Pike pulls this team together by February, he deserves coach of the year. Totally undiscipined offense. weak rebounding. horrible shot selection, weak finishing. I think this team is good so I'll give defense a pass

Matt Rhule: A good portal QB will cost $1,000,000 to $2,000,000

I wonder at what point does it make sense for a coach to fill a couple key roster spots with a big donation from their own paycheck? Is this legal? if Schiano were to buy his way into getting a top QB? Since their success can be tied to a few key recruits, why wouldn't they make the investment?

Basketball GAMEDAY THREAD -- Rutgers versus Princeton

Love that we played this game as I love the SHU rivalry. we don't need to hide from them. We need to be better and keep scheduling these games.

THIS! especially Simpson. And the game needs to revolve around our best player. Cliff. He can find open guys and can pass well.

    Thoughts

we have a QB with a completion pct hovering at 50 pct and you want Greg to sling it? All well do is have more 3and outs. You picked a bad game to complain about the offensive strategy. we moved the ball against a top 5 defense.

Needs To Be An Open Competition for Starting QB Next Year

We belong to a big time conference now. There always needs to be a competition for QB. At the current moment, Gavin's the best all around QB on the team.

    My Take 0n the Game

The style of play that GS and team has put on the field is inspiring. This felt like a heavyweight slugfest which I was not expecting. If we had some more skill, we win. Gotta give Iowa this same aggression.

My Take From The Game Today

On running the ball, it seems like we're using the WR motion to obscure the QB-RB mesh point on the read option. It seems like on the plays we hit big, the defense just could not see who had the ball and our guys instantly got a few steps ahead. The timing on these plays looks perfect...

After 54 years, this Rutgers fan has submitted his written resignation effective March 14, 2023

I think with all the different fonts and colors, this could be a note to a Russian spy. And after all, the RAC does look like a Soviet shelter Prob coming from within the university staff. Someone call the FBI.
