OT: Philly mayor caught dining indoors

He’s a fool and a shockingly bad leader. I’m more concerned that he can’t figure out how to get trash collected on a reliable schedule.

OT: Judge sides with U.S. Soccer in equal pay lawsuit

The women bargained for additional benefits that the men did not. It's a ridiculous lawsuit and those filing it are depending on you only hearing the different pay aspect and not looking at the details.

    OT: New Cannonball Record

I am very familiar with the switch for the bolded section and know it implies NJ to PA Turnpike. However it is bringing me quite a bit of joy to imagine someone accidentally interpreting that literally and attempting a 130mph down the Delaware, up the Schuykill Tour de Philly.

    OT: New Cannonball Record

If it really came down to that, gonna be very hard to prove who was driving the car in which state. And as far as I know, it's not a crime to be in the backseat while someone is driving like a madman.

    OT: New Cannonball Record

Agreed though maybe they saved the 45 minutes they broke the record by in Los Angeles alone haha. Do they usually end up on I40 or I70 out west? If it's I70 I wonder what the speed was going through the Rockies and Glenwood Canyon. Would not want to be the passenger during that leg...

Think this has to get an asterisk, much like wind assistance at a track and field event.

COVID-19 Pandemic: Transmissions, Deaths, Treatments, Vaccines, Interventions and More...

The natural follow up is does our government have a plan besides extending the distancing for 30 days at a time? It's a valuable tool to buy time. But is there an end game here? This is serious enough to lockdown for a few months but there needs to be a game plan for two months down the road...

COVID-19 Pandemic: Transmissions, Deaths, Treatments, Vaccines, Interventions and More...

What do we think happens once we stop social distancing? Is there any reason to think it will not just start to spread again once we start interacting with each other?

COVID-19 Pandemic: Transmissions, Deaths, Treatments, Vaccines, Interventions and More...

There is no evidence from anywhere else in the world that 3 weeks is enough. When the number of confirmed cases starts to decrease, only then should we be planning to open back up. Our federal and local governments are now sending completely opposite messages to the public. Our congress is...

COVID-19 Pandemic: Transmissions, Deaths, Treatments, Vaccines, Interventions and More...

Get a grip. The testing numbers are readily available to anyone and they paint a very clear picture. There is no magic data behind the scenes. Dr. Fauci's absence is deafening. Hopefully the governors are a bit more responsible.

COVID-19 Pandemic: Transmissions, Deaths, Treatments, Vaccines, Interventions and More...

There are zero places in this country that have tested enough to know which places are really pockets. We are still on the upswing everywhere. The height of irresponsibility by Trump right now.

COVID-19 Pandemic: Transmissions, Deaths, Treatments, Vaccines, Interventions and More...

The POTUS appears to be laying the groundwork to remove restrictions to limit spread in the near future. All based on testing results when testing hasn't been readily available anywhere in this country. Insanity.

COVID-19 Pandemic: Transmissions, Deaths, Treatments, Vaccines, Interventions and More...

90 percent of the people on earth live in the northern hemisphere. It's to be expected that most cases would be found there. Right now it seems we are hoping the warmer months are going to save us. It might be cliche but it's true, hope isn't a strategy.

    Rutgers Classes Canceled Thursday Onward

Based on the age you just listed while demonstrating zero understanding of how being a carrier can impact the ones around you (or maybe you just don't care), I'm the same age as you.

I can't imagine accomplishing something and my first thought being to tell off someone who wronged me on the journey. It's comes off as incredibly trashy.
