    Yara hasn’t even left yet. All we know is he entered the portal which just means people can talk to him, but he also said he plans on returning to Rutgers. The rumor about him signing with Michigan seems to be bogus at this point.

    Vianney will have 2 returning champs in Knox and Dellagatta, 3 returning placers in Gould, Zaltsman, and OKeefe, a blood round kid and a R16 kid. If they get whatever Delbarton kids are rumored they will contend for a #1 ranking but they got a ways to go first.

    Good for the Shore, head coach of Vianney is a good guy, but I laughed when Dellagatta cited academics as the reason for a transfer. Vianney the school is a mess and there have been lingering rumors that they (along with Donovan Catholic) are bleeding money and running out of time.

    He’s got some serious accolades but it’s a little concerning that he’s decommitted twice. Often times a decommitment is more of an offer getting pulled, a la Art Sitkowski/Miami. Sounds like injuries are the major problem but if he’s healthy he’s got the resume to be special.

    With NIL and transfer rules giving a ton of power to athletes, I don’t think there’s much cause for concern about how money gets spent anymore. Guys are gonna always leave so money will always get freed up annually.

    Yeah it’s coming. Usually some red flags when there’s a decomittment late in the process. I think back to Art Sitkowski who decommitted from Miami to play football here. In hindsight it sounds more like a scholarship rescission than a decomittment. Hope it’s different here
