    I probably missed it but what type of seed are you putting down? Takes bluegrass about 3 weeks to germinate vs tall fescue which is about half of that. Depends a lot on temps and moisture also.

    The active ingredient in Talstar is 7.9% Bifenthrin. You can save yourself some money in the future by purchasing Bifenthrin instead of Talstar, which is marketed by FMC out of Philadelphia. it’s a good product but it’s been on the market for a while.

    What time of year do you apply the Tenacity for annual bluegrass? I’ve been using a product called Prograss and applying it Oct 1 and Nov 1st. It can applied after overseeing but it’s terribly expensive. Thanks!

    Regarding saving for retirement, don’t get divorced and have to make alimony/child payments. That’s a killer. Also, a great deal matters where you live regarding cost of living. Having a company car and pension doesn’t hurt either.
