No, 18. They just moved two games into December so that the B1G can start the B1G tourney a week earlier and play it in MSG. They did not add two more games this season.Im a little lost here... Don't we play 20 Big Ten games this season anyway?
Lol!
Yes.I'd rather see a 19 game schedule with the East/West split like football.
Play the 6 other East teams twice and the 7 West teams once. With the West teams
you would flip the home & away games every year.
We could fill that 10th home game with St. Johns, Temple or UConn in those yearsThe only bad thing for 19 games is that half the teams will get 10 home games and the other half will get only 9 home games. I too hope it waits until Nov 2019. Hopefully by that time we will be much more competitive in the BIG. Our OOC games could drop from 13 to 11. We need to be much improved as it will be much harder to get an over .500 record. I assume our OOC opponents will be tougher as well. It wouldn't be a bad idea to play more NJ teams but most would have to come to our home. Rider, NJIT, Monmouth, St. Peter's & FDU can be added almost every year at RU. SHU we already play and we could add Princeton in a two for one. That would add 7 OOC games. The other four would have to be in an exempt tournament. A bad thing would be we wouldn't be able to play a really big named school unless it was in an exempt tournament or else we had an open date from not playing one of the NJ teams in that year.
