Thanks for the information.A guard with height that can shoot is promising .Wonder if higher level schools will get involved in the summer?
According to the article, Villanova, Michigan, Creighton, Boston College, and Tulsa have all shown interest in recent weeks.
I have seen him play twice already. This past Sunday I saw him in Allentown, Pa. when The Patrick School beat Blair in a Hoop Group day of 4 games. I wasn't concentrating on him so much but both teams have at least 4 D-1 players. Blair has 4 already sined for next season in Gak to Miami, Florida, Anthony Mack to Wyoming, Matt Turner to Santa Clara and zach Kent to Tennessee. The first time I saw them was at County College of Morris in a "Hoops To Help" day as a fund raiser. Mack hit six straight threes and had a smooth shot. I was disappointed to see he already committed to Wyoming. He lives in the West. Blair only has 2 kids from NJ on their team of about 15 guys. Mack is out now for at least 2 weeks with an ankle injury and was in a boot on Sunday. Also on Sunday I saw a kid who was lights out and played for Parkland in Allentown, PA. vs Linden. this kid, Sam Iorio was 6'6" and could play any of the 5 positions on the court. He is 6'6". I thought this kid is a kid we could get for next year. He broke the school record of 1,636 points on Sunday during the game. When I got home I looked him up and unfortunately he signed at American Univ in November. I read that Villanova offered him a scholarship but he was recruited by American for a long time and he wanted to play right away. He could have been a good find at SF for us as he can really shoot, move & rebound. He is really strong too. I think he will do great at American.
Another mind boggling story about a recruit who can shoot going to a very low tier basketball program and Rutgers has a squad full of players who can't shoot.
Char seems to be mostly a driver, with a strong love for the game.
Oddly enough, when the interviewer asked what he enjoyed most, he said " You know, Iso, then kicking it out"
From what I saw, lots of useless dribbling.
It is tough to take this kid, and then try to get him to play a college d1 game and get you to the tournament. Better off a guy that can find space, create space, and make proper cuts.
He does have long arms. And it was only one video.
