Went to San Antonio six years ago for final for, stayed in the same hotel as Pike and the rest of the coaches. I will put in for the lottery again. Tickets for all three games in the uppers are $300 (a steal), and the application deadline will be May 31st. You put the money down up front plus a $25 non refundable fee. The lottery takes place in August, If you dont get selected you get a refund of your deposit minus the $25.00. Ticket allocation takes place in December of I recall correctly.

Last time i sold two of my four seats in stubhub and it paid for full set of tickets. On the day of the final sold the uppers for a fraction of the original cost and upgraded to lowers vacated by Kansas and Loyola fans at at a great price, The final four is a fantastic event.

Next year the sweet sixteen is at the Rock, will also go for those tickets. I hope RU is at both, but will go regardless.

Thanks for the info. ℹ I got tickets to the regionals at the meadowlands one year.

According to a 2019 article 50% of tickets go to the lottery, 25% to the ncaa and sponsors, 25% to the four schools. About 600 tickets to each schools students as well. I receive emails from the NCAA about tickets all the time since I have gone. There do seem to be lower level seats that come on in VIP packages at a price of around $2k per ticket if I recall.

Regionals are harder to get, it is run the same way, with VIP packages around 1.2k if I recall

Thanks for the info

The secondary market will price very high as soon as the lottery tickets are distributed. I sold half mine at just under 2x face net. As teams get knocked out tickets will drop, especially if a high ranked blue blood goes out. They all assume they will be there. If I recall correctly UNC and UVA went out first weekend in 2018. That allowed us to move from the Sonesta to the Hyatt and lower our hotel price.

Also finals tickets will plummet between Saturday and Monday. When Kansas went out there were seats galore in the lower. Under $200.

The experience is fantastic. Every coach is there for the convention. We randomly share da table at lunch with the Wash St. Coaches. Ate dinner at the table next to Williard and Seton Hall coaches. Road an elevator with Few, saw Ewing, Kenny Smith, and John Thompson on the street. Lunch next toKiki Vandeweghe. And of course the best was a photo with Pike while I was wearing a Rutgers shirt

Upcoming locations include Indianopolis, my daughter lives there, will go, and Vegas in 28 👀

Is there a lottery for tickets at Prudential as well?

Deadline for lottery is approaching. Put my deposit down Monday. Worst thing happens it hits my bill in June pay in July, don’t get tix and refund hits in Sept.

If you can swing it, stay at the Emma hotel…Pearl district. You can walk down the real river walk to the game…best part of town and not a trap like the tourist ditch everyone sees on tv

Got the rejection email today. Nice $1200 loan I gave F**ketMaster all summer, as well as the $25 "processing fee"... oh well.

So at 11am the password for the presale for 1st and 2nd round was shared and tix went on sale at noon. I clicked the button at 1139 as was 4281 in line. By the time Ticketmaster got around to letting me in 134pm, all tickets were gone.

Buying tickets to resell them strikes me as a pretty shallow, miserly hustle. Come on … a modern day Charles Dickens’s Fagin.
