It’s really that simple. Footballl starts with blocking and tackling

As to the first point ...When we can control the LOS when we have the ball, we will have an offense that can consistently move the ball and score points. Exaxtly what we did in the second half

Rainey and pierce showed to be two of five long term pieces . And I’m confident that Fetter will be number three at the center spot when Krimin. That’s three of 7....before this years class of llnemne hit the program

When we do that ...we will compete in the big ten and especially in the brutal big ten East every week....

As to the second point quick ...kromeh did a great job inside in the second half for Turner ....

Rainey had a key block on Vedral's TD pass. And Matt Alaimo did a nice job (lower right) too.

Looking at the reply of this, the play is brilliant. Sanders is out in the flat so the defender has to account for him. The slot receiver runs a crossing route which brings the safety with him and opens up the field for Aaron Young. Nobody accounts for him in the wheel until #41 on defense realizes it and by that he's too late. Expert call by Gleeson.

And I have to say McDonough did a nice job breaking that down on TV.
