They also realized they could run at will as well.I didn't watch the game but I assume Maryland realized they can throw at will. NOrfolk State would have beat us if they just kept on passing.
Make that 656 yards!

SThey wound up with 19 yards in the 1st quarter and 640 in the remaining quarters. Makes no darn sense.....

Sure it does. Rossi made some adjustments lol
They ran for 400....
It's called not making defensive adjustments when the opposition has changed their game plan. No penetration by D-line after midway the second quarter. And D-backs never turning on thrown balls resulting in catches or interference calls. And blitz packages where guys aren't filling gaps but bumping into one another. Hideous....after essentially not moving on their first couple drives.
Actually, if you recruit well, develope, and retain players then you don't have to play young players. He is using one of his failures as an excuse for being a failure.I'm so sick of Flood's excuse about young players. You know what? If you line your young players up and put them in the right spots they wind up getting in the way of things. Jesus this guy is brain dead
Changed QB...after essentially not moving on their first couple drives.
The third string Army QB set a team passing record against us. Think about that one for a whileThe defense has been a far bigger hindrance to on field success than quarterback play for the last several years. Its just since QB is an individual, and a glamour position, QB struggle is what fans fixate on. Last 3 years at least, RU Defense makes every opposing QB look like a Heisman candidate. I don't think I've ever seen a team consistently allow wide open catches as much as RU has these last 3 years.
would have been 750 if they didn't get those two TDs called back. They should have had at least 5 more points as well.Would have been 700 if he didn't slide to end it
