last season. Thought you might get a kick out of this. Underwood gives full credit to Rutgers “punking” Illinois and talks about moving forward. Underwood is a super nice guy (he really is lol) but he’s definitely competitive. Lol. Illinois played much better down the stretch. I know it’s from awhile ago, but it just popped up.

Tough question:

more likeable guy:

Brad underwood or Juwan howard ?

🤔
I know it’s scarcasm. But it seems like the players love Howard. That’s all that matters . Because Michigan will put up with his antics as long as he’s winning.
Hell, he got to coach in March madness and his teary embrace with an opposing player is in one shining moment lore.

Yes , exercising bad behavior is often accepted when that person is a high level college coach, former NBA and Olympic player and at one of the country’s top public institutions of learning . All was forgiven and Howard is free to slap the next guy that pisses him off. Can you imagine if Steve Pikiell had smacked someone and acted like a madman. We already had a guy like that.

I feel like Underwood was one of the coaches that people didn't like earlier.
