So it seems like the judge in this situation has some sense. The hearing has been postponed allowing Maori to continue to play. Her family’s indicated it planned to call a number of witnesses. The judge said “The hearing on the permanent injucntion will be rescheduled as expeditiously as the ends justice require,”

The judge would be smart to continue the delay until after the season ends.

Well she certainly is used to a huge bunch of attention, and the press being around her. Great to see the support down there.

Unless you read the comments section of that article

Many are against her and her family
But maybe that is just internet trolling?

I know she still has all the negative around her as well. But what doesn't kill you can make you stronger!!

This is really looking like a plan by the legals to delay, delay, delay and not only address the immediate case but save the state from any more bad press.
My guess is that they will allow her to finish the season and then back the original decision with no negative repercussions to Maori for her actual play. Kind of a win, win and then deal with the situation so it doesn't happen again.

Been thinking about this a great deal of late. If CVS does not come back to coach, do already signed transfers have the right to de-committ?

If Stringer leaves, I believe she would have to request the school for a release from her LOI. I can’t see the school holding her to it because of the press already surrounding her case. If you search there was an ESPN article where she clearly states that Coach Stringer was the reason she committed. If Stringer steps aside, I don’t see her staying. She had a list of elite schools that she could go and play for.
