I love the way this roster is rounding into shape. I just think its dangerous to go into next season with no true point guard. Baker will no doubt be the starter going into camp but there has to be a backup plan. I know we lost out on the Fordham kid who would have been perfect.

There's not really a white whale out there that a) checks all the boxes and b) would consider us. I think right now we're better off putting the ball in Baker and McConnell's hands and getting them more experience, rather than bringing in anybody who's available.

He's not a PG but I'd love to see us get involved with former UMass C Malik Hines. Haven't seen any list of schools interested but I imagine he'll draw a lot of interest from high majors.

Other than that... I think we either roll the scholarship over to 2019 outright, or bring in a grad transfer reserve player, although grad transfers generally don't transfer to be a reserve player.

Actually, I'll give you one name: Zaynah Robinson

Undersized PG from Norfolk State, missed all of last season with a back injury that's apparently not yet fully healed (obviously a factor). Poor shooting numbers but he's quick and has good assist/turnover numbers. Again that's in the MEAC so take it for what it's worth.

No idea where his recruitment stands, looks pretty quiet. Originally from Atlanta so no idea if there'd be interest on his end. But could be worth a look.
