Wow, I know not to go to that one then. I didn't have to buy anythingWent to bridgewater location. Showed the ticket. Cashier said it was free with the purchase of an item that was at least $1.
My wife and I went to the Menlo Park location, as we had never been to a Shake Shack before, so this gave us an excuse to go. Had a vanilla shake, burger and fries and my wife had a chocolate shake and a burger. Sat outside in the warm sun. Nice meal. Got both shakes for free - not sure if we were supposed to or not, but the manager had to verify the ticket and we told her it was our first visit to a Shake Shack and she said they were getting a lot of folks in, so I assume she was happy to get 2 new customers and pay for 2 shakes and sell 2 meals. Will go back.I have the email but my ticket is an All In one so last night's game ticket isn't available. My ticket rep said I shouldn't have a problem but I wanted to see if anyone had any issues before I go tonight.
Said the same thing to me! So I asked for the manager! Got my free shakes for free. Told them $1 is fine but she wanted $4! (Separate transaction for each!). Hahaha my kids got a kick out of it as I never ask to speak to a manager….!Went to bridgewater location. Showed the ticket. Cashier said it was free with the purchase of an item that was at least $1.

When did the email come I didn’t receive itI have the email but my ticket is an All In one so last night's game ticket isn't available. My ticket rep said I shouldn't have a problem but I wanted to see if anyone had any issues before I go tonight.
You did not have to make a purchase. You should send an email to corporate for them giving you a hard time. You'll probably get a gift card.Manager at Bridgewater gave me a hard time trying to enforce that I needed to make a purchase. Eventually comped it when I complained enough. So annoying.
How was the shake? What flavor?Wow, I know not to go to that one then. I didn't have to buy anything
Black and white, and it was great! How was the shake? What flavor?
At women’s game last night it was announced free shake with purchase. Pretty sure that’s not how it was phased at mens game
I think it was the same, I don't recall hearing "with purchase". I got emails after both games, neither of which said "with purchase"At women’s game last night it was announced free shake with purchase. Pretty sure that’s not how it was phased at mens game
The email is from Rutgers Athletics with the title "You won a free shake'. The offer is only good the day after the game.I never got an email.
Who was it from and what time?
Is it too late?
I shouldnt have a shake though, salad is better for me
Art, I'm not surprised. Over the years, I've tried to use coupons or discount cards at various fast food franchises at rest stops on the parkway and turnpike. They never accept them. They always tell me they are a non-participating franchise.I went to the one in Union on the parkway. I was told they are not a franchise Shake Shack and they didn’t have to follow the email but the manager was so nice after I showed him the email and he gave me a white and black shake anyway. He said he couldn’t do this in the future. He was very nice. If there is a next time I must go to Menlo Park. The shake was very good.
I. Went there and got the same story and no shake.I went to the one in Union on the parkway. Same thing. I wrote an email to Shake Shack and told them that the Union rest stop would not honor. I emphasized that the email said any Shake Shack, not "at participating Shake Shacks". They said that particular one does not participate. But, they wrote back promptly and included a code that will get us the free shakes. Very good response, very good business.I.
