Anyone know what court side seats cost?

The tickets are way underpriced. But I’ve enjoyed my fair share of games down there.

Did someone above say they got tickets and deferred donation for 3 seasons?
That was me…didn’t defer donations but because I donate a scholarship based on the initial agreement it covers all seat fees for my yearly commitment. They are changing the rules on this going forward but my agreement goes another 3yrs

Curious what you payed for a courtside seat?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen courtside for sale….unless you’re talking the overall 100 section?
Going to look through old receipts and get back to you. Not floor seats but few rows. Not sure if you’re still interested in that?

I’ve sat front row at Knicks games and there is no experience like it.
Thing is I have actually had more fun at Rutgers games sitting about 4-5 rows back to watch the game in full and be surrounded by fans—makes the experience to me

The womens game I was at, I was basically playing. Even caught a turnover. Cannot imagine what it's like down there for a mens game. I sit in the 200s and always have a blast. Gonna mention it to my R Fund rep next time I see him. Might just get them for family/friends/clients to come with me.

I also agree with numbers about the Audi club. It's too stuffy for a football game. I don't belong up there during football. My first time up there I hit an old lady (accidentally) with a water bottle after Tom Savage threw a game ending INT against Pitt.

That's it? Jesus that's peanuts I thought it was like 25k lol

Damn near impossible to get though. Buddy of mine called up looking to donate $50K if he could get a pair of courtside seats and was told no dice.

I have occasionally seen courtside on sale on stubhub. Ones in front of section 104. Usually for early season games and like 400 a ticket.

I would imagine a donation/ticket cost increase down there is coming somewhat soon.

I’ve never been in the Audi club for a game, but could see how it could be stuffy. I’ve done the recruiting terrace(?) and that was fun.

Court side is just awesome because you’re legit in the game and the guys sitting down there are some of the rowdiest at the RAC.

When you go consistently, the players definitely recognize who you are and will have small interactions with you during the game. Really a fun time down there.

I'm sure we'll get at least a 5% increase YOY until the reno is done and then they're gonna hit us with the big one

It’s *not stuffy imo

However for the out of control fan, it might not be the best place considering the company you keep. You can’t be screaming f Hobbs lol

Pretty sure every seat in the 100s has a seat donation.

Correct. This year section 114 had a seat donation of $550 per seat, with an effective seat price of about $85 per game. A very good deal for center court, lower level seats compared to other options in the NJ/NY metro sports market.

Is there a certain donation/priority points needed to even get in the 100s, then a seat donation annually and then the cost of the tickets?

Yes, AFAIK, priority points determine ranking for who will get available tickets - don't actually know levels required though, since I don't buy the hoops tix (my friend does - he likes getting the PP's and I don't really need more). Your ticket rep ought to be able to tell you. After that, yes, there's an annual per seat donation, depending on how good the seats are, and, of course the ticket costs (as I said earlier, our seat donation + ticket cost = $1400 per ticket).

Thanks so much! Sadly that’s more info then I’m able to get from my ticket rep. I’m in 206 but would love to get into the 100s. I know it’s going to cost but they don’t seem to want my money lol.

A good ticket rep would be telling you how many more PPs you'd need to get into the 100s, as a way of getting you to donate more (assuming you don't have enough now). Not sure what it is now, but I know that 6-7 years ago I spoke to my rep and he said that the ~80 PPs I had back then were enough to get into the 100s - I'm sure that has gone up given the success under Pike.

I need a better rep. Thanks again!

It's a combo of how many more points you need and any availability. There's been seemingly nothing more than a single pop up since 2019ish.

I'm sure someone would be pissed if they were told they needed X points, donated the money, and then still didn't get tickets

I used to be in 118. During one of the very down years, I figured I would try for sidelines. I got them. Now, once I’m there, you can’t replace me, regardless of how much you donate. I just have to pay for my seats each year. People with a large donation/most PP will be given the first shot at any openings….but there has to be open tickets.

I was able to get in the 100a via a single seat - I’d prefer 2, but I was told that’s not happening, and if it did, woukd be at the top of the section and not anytime soon

I’m in 113 row E

Great view, close to the action, and super cool & knowledgeable people around me that love to talk hoops and know their stuff

I’ve always sat in the 100s since i started coming in 2003. Usually bought a single off stubhub or from a scalper outside

I always felt the extra money was worth it, as for Bball, I like to be as close as possible

Other sports (baseball, lax, football, and hockey) I prefer to be higher up to get s better view and see the action develop

But Bball & wrestling, I like to bd as close as possible

Ironically, my wrestling seats are in 113 row D - which I like bc the team bench is right there and you get to see the interactions between Goody / Donnie + the team

I told my rep I’d also take a single and they still aren’t forthcoming with info on how to make it happen. Thanks.

I had to call multiple times, and even go in person.

I thought the same thing that they were not being forthcoming, but in reality, I think it’s just that not many, if any do pop up.

I was able to purchase mine as I had bought it from a board poster here for years for a number of games, so they had me on record.

From what I was told, I think they hold a certain number of seats, back for different reasons, and always like to air on the side of caution.

However, if they see somebody has been going for years and have them in the system, I would assume they’re more than likely to be open to selling them a single, as opposed to keeping it in the house.

Same thing happened for wrestling, I finally was able to snag a single in the 100 level.

It’s definitely more fun going with people, but I would rather sit in really nice seats and go by myself then go with somebody and sit in a seat that I don’t want to be in.

This would be awesome. And scary to some LoL

Apparently some are already offended
Not offended, intimidated. We can feel the alpha waves radiating across the internet.

For example, I've never seen anything quite so alpha as this thread:

Let's link at a game. Just make sure you let me know your pronouns first.

I have a great ticket rep. who once I asked offered me my single seat a few rows off center court. I was probably just lucky with respect to timing. A single seat is great. Besides saving the cost of another ticket, there is so much to take in during the course of a game and you don’t have the distraction of entertaining someone you might invite. Football is different in this respect with the tailgating experience and length of the game.

That’s awesome!

I think you make a good point and at the time you could have a lot to do with it, you called him at the right time but we’re also proactive.

Also agree regarding football, as it’s more of an all day affair with the tailgating and taking in the same, etc.

Going along would not be nearly as fun.

Sure thing, just please give me a heads up if someone writes something mean on Twitter and you're going to stay home and cry about it.

Stay home and cry about it? Twitter? What are you babbling about? Dudes were harassing me with texts and memes bc I rep Rutgers all the time. I was being clowned at the bar lol. It happens.

Get over it and put the internet muscles/sass away.

Would love to link up with you guys
Hang out, take in the scene
Throw down a few beers
Lmk and I’ll be there
Sounds good man will do. Should link at a ball game regardless. You said you went solo alot. Not sure if you go to football games, but I'm part of a pretty good tailgate so just let me know if you ever wanna come through.

I’d like to do it once…actual court side.

But wouldn’t feel the need to be there all the time.

200s are fine. Or whatever is built club-wise after the reno.

Absolutely my man sounds good. Are usually go to a handful of football games per year, as long as they do not coincide with the FSU schedule. Shoot me an DM and I will send you my info!

I believe that is the seat I was offered last year but I needed two so declined it
Glad you were able to pick to pick it up
