Guys, here is the thing, noone is denying that right now under Flood we are an average team. In order to be exactly average one of 2 things HAS to happen:

1)You are awful against the good teams but you beat about every team you are supposed to (that is what we are).

2)You have a bunch of big wins but at the same time you have a bunch of WTF games. Look at WSU this year. They will probably end up with 6 or 7 wins this year with some big wins against Oregon and Arizona but they somehow lost to Portland State. Can you imagine what our fanbase would be like if we started the season with a Portland State loss?

So as a result this thread is pointless. If you point to the 4-20 record I will point to the 22-1 record against teams with a .500 record or less. And if it was the other way around and I can point to a bunch a big wins you point out all the WTF loses.

No one is saying Flood is great. That said, if you're going to replace Flood with an unproven Terry Shea-type coach because all we can pony up is a 1.3 million salary, then I say no thanks and wait til we get more B1G money.

We are below average with flood at the helm. 2 of the years he's been here the massey composite ranking had us in the high 40s--very mediocre but a little below average when you consider that means almost 2/3 of p5 teams were ahead of us. Another year we were ranked in the 80s and so far we are 77. That is flat out bad.

Yeah lets just ignore actual record and decide everything on Massey. Don't tell LSU that because they are out of the playoff then.

Besides, we just played the hardest part of the schedule. If we win 3 more games we will be much higher than 77.

The hilarious thing is that the game started with Fowler stating that Flood was suspended for a Rutgers policy that Flood said he didn't know about.....Flood is a clown, the statements he has made since being suspened have been disingenious at best and IMO, flat out lies...the investigation and his actions showed he was clearly aware of the policy, yet he did it anyway. He should be fired simply for continuing to lie about his actions. I'd have more respect for him if he just admitted he screwed up...instead we keep getting this blatant lie over and over again.

So true. Time for Coach Fraud to go. He's an embarrassment to the program.
