I think . . . .

Predicting Ws and Ls is a fool's game, ask any gambler, but we can play with any team in the nation.

If Dylan hasn't exceeded your expectations, get yourself checked.

It shouldn't be surprising that Ace has struggled (relative term). He's barelty eighteen. But he's already shown enough growth to look forward for him in Jan, Feb., March.

Expected, and still expect, that Lathan would be pretty good off the bat but improve during season. Didn't think that of EO, but now reasons to be homeful.

Seen encouraging signs from JWill and Acuff.

We lost last night, just like we lost to Houston in the NCAA Tournament, due to a terrible stretch of conceding Offensive rebounds during a critical point late in the game. This has to improve.

DH has exceeded Shelby’s expectations so far. Almost too good to believe.

I keep hearing this being brought up with Ace, he’s barely 18. Dylan is 18 also, he is 5 months older than Ace as Dylan’s BDay is March and Ace August, which is nothing. Essentially, Dylan and Ace are the same age. On the broadcast they try to make it sound like Ace is a baby as he is “barely 18” and try to make it sound like Dylan is a 21 year old.

Chill out, man. Chill the eff out. Dylan seems like a generational player . My reference to Ace’s age bothers you? Ace is merely a remarkable talent , esp. for his age.

You chill the eff out….they are literally the same age. The reference doesn’t bother me, the reference is literally identical for both of them. They are both remarkable talents for their age, which is identical.

Still haunts me
Not just the play haunts me but the player too. Weakest offensive player ever to play for Rutgers in the last half-century. No hands, no moves, no shot, no nothing.

As cringy it is to watch Ogbole, he was a better offensive player the first time he stepped on campus.

#15 was brutal.

Progress is not always linear, we have obviously been better in LV, still need to rebound better, defend the the three ball better, need more scoring from the bench, and most of all we need to continue to improve our consistency.

Was sitting in a bar about a month ago and had a conversation with someone who turned out to be a RU fan also
He mentioned the Houston game and went through that play sequence, just like it happened yesterday

That is what is has become
I sometimes referred to it as our "Buckner" moment

Team has all new (most young) guys. Do you think it won’t improve under Pike?

We lost to Houston because Myles Johnson didn’t just dunk the ball under the basket to seal a win and trip to Sweet 16.

GO RU
And ... at the end, Baker just stood watching the action and failed to box out a Houston guard who got the offensive rebound and put-back that took the lead. So the poster was correct that RU's failure to prevent offensive rebounds was a major factor.

At the end, Houston players were really going after it, on offense And defense
I have never rewatched the final minutes

I haven't watched him at all but I believe Flagg is still 17.

That's why he was originally a year behind Ace/Dylan. He was born the same year (2006) but in December.
He missed the school cutoff and was a year behind.

Then he reclassified up to the same year as Ace/Dylan.

Think of it from a physical stand point. Dylan is physically and mentally an adult, hugely ready for college. Ace is like a baby deer still learning to run. There is a reason that it's been Ace considered the comp with Flagg for #1. The room for improvement from an already unreal shot making talent is huge.

This is the big disconnect between the NBA Draft and CBB fans.

CBB fans mostly look at the short term lense of how good are they now and/or next year. We need results now.

NBA Draft doesn't ignore next year but they heavily weigh how will the player look in 4 years.
As you point out, Ace is already doing this and clearly has room for development.

Dylan is sort of a unicorn in that he could likely play in the NBA right now but he's also only 18. He's not 22 doing this.

The one thing that could maybe limit his high end draft potential is if some say "how much better could he get?"
But that's usually for older players. He's still only 18 and phenomenonal. He could improve his 3pt shooting or anything else that may come up.

Holding my breath for Ogbole to give us 8 points a game on 63% shooting with the No. 1 REB rate and No. 2 BLK rate in the B1G

People don't remember the missed foul shot and Houston gets rebound and makes the 3? That to me was biggest play in game.

We were up.eight, should be ten with the slam dunk
Ball goes out to mid court and they hit a three

In the wink.of an eye, the supposed ten point lead became five
that was it for me and yes,, i.am sure there were other things, not securing rebounds
