Consider regional cultural bias. Need Jersey/Northeast recruiting connections and regional culture understanding to recruit. Flood and Schiano had it. Graber did OK too. Shea tried with California JUCO. Ash using 1yr Grad transfers, JUCOs, and Iowa/Ohio kids.
Indiana and Purdue can't get the best in Midwest why would they come here then????
Hire local coaches with relationships in region, recruit local! Schiano and Flood seemed to get a lot of guys from South Jersey, what happened?

No I’m saying ash would find a coordinator job making between 500-700k, but over 2-3 years it would subtract 1m-1.5m off the buyout .
He’s definitely not getting a premier coordinator position

Hobbs will clearly give Ash the rest of this year to turn things around.

But what does Ash need to do to be coaching at RU in 2019? Seems like a long shot that this season can be turned around. Improvement in all areas seems unlikely.

If he is gonna be fired at the end of the season he needs to be fired now... need to get moving on finding a new coach
