FYI Ashnault is on deck on Mat 5. He wins and he's an All-American - he loses and he's eliminated. Check it out on ESPN3.

Congrats to Ashnault! Since he's just a RS freshman he's got a shot to be a 4-time All-American.

Now RU has had an All-American for two straight years after not having one since 2002.

Philadelphia, you can't compete for third unless you're in the semifinals.

In wrestling, anyone can come back and take third. For instance, at 133lb, AJ Schopp from Edinboro lost his first match and then won seven in a row to finish third. The only people who have to win out are the finalists.

You're right theacks, I was thinking it's a lot easier to finish 3rd if you make the semis but you don't have to finish 3rd.
