Aundre Hyatt- 4 on 1 Block

It was a great block, but I still prefer his block vs Notre Dame last year in Dayton.

That was awesome!

His mid-air block against Blake Wesley ranked in my top 10 plays of the 2021-22 season.

This block was epic. There is still something so amazing about stopping a 4 on 1 break with a block that leads to an immediate dunk

Hyatt's block last night just encapsulated what this team is about in one play. 4 on 1 against a guy that no one ever talks about. Emphatically rejects a guy, gets picked up from a former zero star transfer from Loyola who dishes to an unheralded jersey freshman guard who lights up the RAC with a one handed dunk.

Along with this epic play, I think we can add Caleb's block vs. OSU last year and that play vs. Purdue at home in 2019 when four or five guys deflected, dove for balls, and passed to each other leading to two on a break to the Pound Nails Hall of Fame!

Yes! That five man hustle play was incredible. The Caleb block was one of the coolest and most clutch plays given everything at stake at that point in the season I can remember. If you watch the play, Geo sort of pushes Caleb in the back like "go get 'em, Caleb".
