Good for Temple and getting Game Day but it would be nice to see more than a few Block R's in the crowd. Who's going?

Did I read somewhere that someone has raised the Washington State flag at every Game Day for the past 5 to 10 years?
It's a few blocks from my house so I'll walk by with a RU hat on, if that helps.
Yes, the WSU flag has been at every Gameday since 2003. Alums mail it to each other to keep the streak alive. Impressive dedication, for sure.

A GameDay neither on the campus of the host team nor outside the stadium where the game is being played. Just ridiculous.
Not unusual. And for crying out loud there isn't a better setting than Independence Hall
For the record, there's a lot of new construction going on at the Main Campus so that's probably a very good reason why that location didn't cut it. I don't know how to post photos otherwise you could see what some of the finished projects will look like. Independence Mall is a good spot logisitically to get crowds into and out of Center City down to the Linc afterwards.
They are also doing GameDay from outside The Linc on December 5 or 12, whatever the date, for Army-Navy, and said they didn't want to broadcast twice from the same location. As far as campus, some of the signature spots are somewhat compromised by construction projects right now, which diminished the appeal of campus.
I think this ought to be pretty cool. They're actually closing Market Street and the set will be smack in the middle of the street, adjacent to the Mall.
Great idea. Bring those flags into a crowd of drunk Philly kids. That will end well.

It is. And Gameday has never been to WSU either. It was Philly or Pullman this week and still no Gameday for the Cougars
