I REALLY hope to God our women can win it this year because I am still shocked (kinda) how little respect they even seem to get. First place and beating PSU...they feature Iowa and MD and only RU mention so far was they got beat.

Such little respect. Great competitive league but I know from personal experience working 30 years for mid west based company they think little of this area.

Mentioned the same thing about lack of mention for RU. It dies get a little more than irritating

On the flip side, ESPN's Sunday women's game coverage gave RU lots of love. Nell Fortner spent a few minutes on the turnaround this season specifically citing the use of transfers which has been so effective. Actually had a graphic highlighting all of them and the key contributions they are making to our offense. Also noted that we have the Baylor kid coming in next year plus Davenport as a first year player -- which are major plusses.

So while BTN hasn't caught on, ESPN is noticing! Keep winning and they will have no choice to talk about the SKs!

Any other team in first place gets it. BAC, not talking about being the feature. But we did beat PSU that week and aga8n only mention was the lose.
I tie that back to the " oh that's cute" comments the week prior and it simply tells me the don't believe and are just waiting for the fall.

But as I started. WE need to fix that by winning.
