Injured and/or banged up.Truly an amazing effort
What changes where made during the bye week ?
This Minnesota team can score they hung 40 on Maryland
Agreed.. gotta keep OL hands away and prevent them locking onto your shoulder pads. Though holding is out of control in this conference. The refs shocked me late in the 2nd half making a call.Said in one of the other threads. Interior DL played much better today. First time I saw a swim move. And first time I saw them get off blocks with consistency.
Need to play with violent hands. They are still accepting the block.
Are you serious? The last few weeks, Lewis, Longerbeam, Powell, Dixon and Bailey have all either been mostly our or completely out, while today all of those except Bailey were 100% in or mostly in. Huge difference in those guys vs. their subs. One can argue that we should've had better depth, but we haven't and that's why the D has looked so bad recently. Would be nice if these guys stay healthy for the rest of the season, as that will be a major key in us finishing with 6+ wins.Truly an amazing effort

Yea egregious call. Seems to only be called on defensive players. Refs missed a bunch of calls with hands to the face on OL.Agreed.. gotta keep OL hands away and prevent them locking onto your shoulder pads. Though holding is out of control in this conference. You see that 2nd hands-to-the-face call against Lewis? OL was trying to yank his shoulder pads up over Lewis' helmet. That was a weak hands to the face call.. thought the fix was in there... happily found it was not.
Lewis was only used as a sub. He came in once maybe every third play and didn't even register an assist. He was a complete nonfactor except his facemask penalty which led to a score. Walker and Hamilton had beast games. Lewis will not be missed next year. Are you serious? Eric Rodgers #0 was out there a lot. Had a tough start missing the dead to rights sack and getting picked on then played well. #4 Dez is a lost train wreck, in year 4 he still has no idea who he's supposed to cover.IMO, Coach addressed it. He had to decide if starters at 80% perform better than backups at 100%. Today, Mascoe, Sanders, and Salaam played much more than I've ever noticed. Only saw Igbinosun on one play. Rogers, not at all. Longerbeam, not as much as usual.
Fair point on Lewis, but the others had very good games, IMO, and yes, this was probably the best we've seen from Hamilton and Walker this season.Lewis was only used as a sub. Young guns outplayed their older teammates. Rogers and igbinosun are not having good years. Longerbeam looks to be getting healthy and playing with much more confidence.IMO, Coach addressed it. They haven’t been playing a fleck offense, which is what they go against everyday in practice
