The veteran leadership (Turkey, Shawver, Yara) has bought into the idea of taking it to the next level. They now have the responsibility of instilling that thinking into the rest of the team. The grind of wrestling is very mentally taxing and this type of collective team mindset can get it done. Looking forward to the season.

Every year at this point I get overly optimistic. With that said i do expect that the team will improve on last seasons results.

Over/Under on AA's (Betting line)?

I would set this at 2.5
There is a potential for more, but i think 2 is the safe bet

This is going to upset the Pep Squad. I'm all in favor of what Goodale wants to do, and it's what we've been wanting for ## years. I have to wonder why he is tired of finishing 14th only now. 14th is the coach's poll ranking for dual performance, and 20th was the tournament finish. Which does he want to improve on? We've been told, "It's all about March," so the goal is to improve from 20th to the top ten, right? Do that and the coaches ranking will improve too.

I have to keep wondering why this effort didn't start years ago. Now, without Donny, Seabass, and Buxton, we're going to do it. Were they the impediments? 🙄

Most of you with professional careers likely also have performance objectives measured during a performance review. When the season is over, we will have the above article to reflect on. Do I expect a top-ten finish at the NCAA tournament? No, but we should be able to make a progress assessment and performance review of the coaching.

I would expect a similar finish at Nationals. We lack top guys that stack up points at that tournament. I'd guess we'll get 2 AA and finish around 20 where we normally do.
