That APP site is saturated with pop ups. Absolutely awful.
Not at all....watched virtually all the games last year and we could have won 4 or 5 more
Lack of athleticism hurt us, youth hurt us. We lost Getty's we are in a good place. We will be much faster, defense will be more intense and our shooting and rebounding will be better. 20 + wins this year
we lost two important pieces and gained two talented but inexperienced...sort of a wash there...last year just 3 conference wins....predicting more than 9 conference wins seems to not be based in reality given there wasnt this major infusion of talent on a team that still sits in the bottom 4 of the league in overall talent
Loved Getty's but he brought down the team with his lack of athleticism. You couldn't run the floor with him out there. Defensive intensity will be thru the roof this year
Still don't think it's enough to jump from 3-15 to 9-9 or better. The Big Ten is a better league this year than last year.
If we double our B1G wins from 3 wins last year to 6 wins this year, I will be very happy with our year 2 progress.
I will always like the optimism, but the flip side of "we could have won 4 or 5 more" is our Illinois win ended with a Freeman 3 pointer with 7 seconds left, our Nebraska win ended with a Corey put back with one second left, and we won @Penn State by 2. Not sure expecting us to win all the close one's we won AND reverse all the close one's we lost is achievable.
That written, Geo is a HUGE upgrade over Nigel. I just don't get this boards fascination with Nigel. Ponds (St. Johns guard) could have scored 60 if Nigel was guarding him. And I think the second year in Pikiell's program is being undervalued. 9-9 in league is an "everything breaks right" scenario. I don't see that record as impossible, but certainly the very, very top end of what could happen.

I hearya but I don’t think RU has to score at the Duke, UNcheat, UCLA and AZ 80 plus pts per game level for a breakout season. I do agree that more scoring has to come from somewhere. I do believe that between Corey, Deshawn, Issa, Geo, Mike and the bench RU will come up with 68plus pts/ game. That scoring and solid defense will have the program take the next step.
