Featuring Rob Gronkowski, Ndamukong Suh, LeSean McCoy, Luke Kuechly, Odell Beckham Jr., Ben Roethlisberger, Paul George, Paula Findlay, Antonio Brown, Marlen Esparza, Eric Weddle, Lauren Fisher, Marcus Mariota, Sydney Leroux, Le’Veon Bell, Draymond Green, Eugenie Bouchard, Steven Stamkos, Elena Delle Donne, A. J. Green, Carli Lloyd

My niece (who was no slouch) played HS club ball against Elena Della Donne and since she was a power forward had the unenviable task of trying to guard her. She was also somewhat friendly with her. She said that when her mind was in the game that an entire team couldn't stop her. I knew she had issues at UConn and left and I didn't really follow anything about her afterward. I just googled her career and I had no idea she was doing so well in the WNBA. Good for her for succeeding after what must have been such huge expectations to shoulder.

There's a vid out there about the making of the commercial. Carli is one of those featured. Always amazed how the can make a set on a soundstage look so real. Good job by Nike.

You've got a bunch of NFL players along side Della Donna, Stamkos, Carli, etc. - an awkward line-up for a snow-day football commercial. Would have been better if they stuck with NFL players and perhaps went with a stars v. Legends theme and bust out Ditka and others.

It's promoting Nike's Mens and Womens cold weather gear. Football in the snow is the premise that brings them all together.

It's not a football comercial, knucklehead. It's a NIKE commercial!

Did anyone else notice that the radio broadcast in the backround is the same one Bill Murray wakes up to over and over again in "Groundhog Day"?

Thanks genius - the point was that probably 80% of the athletes in the commercial were NFL players going to play snow football. Then you get a few token athletes from other sports - most of which the average person wouldn't even recognize. You think anyone knows who the hell Stamkos or Della Donna are?

You keep ignoring the fact it's a commercial for Men's AND Women's clothing. I guess to make you happy they should have had Ditka dressed in Lloyd's outfit. He'd have looked pretty darn cute in that sweater.

Our fans can suck the joy out of anything. Well done.
It's funny. I was in San Diego all week. Reading their sports section was so refreshing. Every article was either positive or fair. No articles trying to find controversy or tearing people down. We need a serious attitude change around here.

How many people watching that commercial could identify 75% of the athletes without any hints? Interesting concept, but that was my biggest issue with it. Even with the full list of names at the top, I can't match everyone up.

For me it was 5 men (Gronk, Suh, Beckham, Ben, and Mariota), and 3 women (Leroux, Delle Donna, and of course Lloyd).
