Remember Myles redshirted his first year, why because he wasn’t ready. If the coaches think Chol is not Big ready so be it, part of Pike’s success is his ability to develop players, Chol will have a role next year and beyond
That’s the plan.Remember Myles redshirted his first year, why because he wasn’t ready. If the coaches think Chol is not Big ready so be it, part of Pike’s success is his ability to develop players, Chol will have a role next year and beyond
I surmise that a redshirt here for this year was the Pike/Chol plan all along. Chol basically traded his last year of development in HS/Prep for a year of high level development under Pike and staff practicing against elite college athletes, plus an extra year toward his degree or degrees.Remember Chol reclassified from 2023 to 2022. A redshirt, if possible, would benefit him.
I believe rn Chol can’t redshirt if that’s the question. I think and don't quote me on this as I’ll work to confirm, but for hoops once you play that’s it.@Richard Schnyderite can you confirm what the redshirt rules are for basketball?
I know there was talk of changing to allow some game time and still redshirt like football, but it doesn't seem like anyone posted any official reference that it happened. Some posts from random websites and different posters sounding confident the rules either changed or didn't change
Except for injury. Maybe you or Chris could ask Pikiell about that the next time you're able?I believe rn Chol can’t redshirt if that’s the question. I think and don't quote me on this as I’ll work to confirm, but for hoops once you play that’s it.
