that's an interesting post... I'm taking #4 and #6. Gregory could score down low and Mitchell was a big who could hit the 3.

The rest we already had cept. a true PG in Farmer.

and of course it would depend which player showed up for Carter, Jack, Miller....and I wouldn't want Rosario's attitude ANYWHERE near that team.

Tough one.... probably JMitch and Ech, though I could also be persuaded to Mack and JMitch. It's amazing how few shooters we had in that bunch.

Farmer and NDaiye and it’s hard for me to even consider the others. Most of the Rice era players were low IQ except Mitchell. Give this team some rim protection and a PG who can penetrate and kick, I’m happy with that.

surprised no votes for Eli Carter ... that dude was lights out shooting from 3, something this current team sorely needs. I can't remember if his defense was any good (those years were dark and tough to watch), which is a must to be on a Pike roster so maybe that's why others are excluding him?

I'd go with Eli & Rosario. And if Eli doesn't play D then Echniquie for the presence on both ends of the court down low.

If you were going to break the rules, I would actually pick Bailey (a Center who could SCORE, inside and mid-range, AND defend), and Douby (the dead-eye shooter RU really lacked).

Most of the guys on that list are me first players, not team first.


Having H down low would have caused a lot of issues for Purdue. A LOT.

JMitch at the 3 would have been an excellent 3rd scoring option.

Thinking more about it, probably N'Diaye and JMitch. N'Diaye would give us that inside presence both offensively and defensively that we really didn't have this year, and JMitch could give us a legit deep threat as a stretch four.
