Commercial sequence after 2nd UCLA score

So UCLA scores with 2:43 left in the 2nd quarter. After the extra point, they go to a 3:00 minute commercial break. They kickoff to us, it's a touchback, they go to another 3:00 minute commercial break. We run some plays, gets down to the 2:00 minute warning, at which point a 3rd 3:00 commercial break. Just unbelievable how much they break up the flow of the game.

I was wondering what happened. I was at my daughter soccer game when UCLA scored right end of her games halftime. Her game was ending by the time UCLA scored with 23 seconds left. I looked at the alert times and there was 24 minutes to play 2:21. That is ridiculous.

All that money from TV contracts (that schools can’t use to fund NIL) has to come from somewhere. The business model makes perfect sense!
